Thanks for taking the time to have a look at my pages.At the moment I am living in Brandon in Durham and have done so for the past 7 years although I am originally from Winlaton (Blaydon) in the borough of Gateshead near Newcastle upon Tyne.
I think I am a nice person, people tell me that anyway and I suppose that it's due in part to my work history and large family. As one of 5 kids you have to get on with people, and after training as a photographer I set up my own business so really needed to be able to sell myself , before working as a media skills tutor and then becoming a Community Worker for Gateshead Education Service. So I had to get on with all ages and people from all backgrounds before I went on to become a counsellor and for a short while a Senior Community Worker.
During this phase I decided to take a part-time job in a bar in Low Fell, and within a month became assistant manager, and was transferred to Newcastle, at which point I decided to forget about community work and concentrate on having a social life and the time to spend my hard earned cash!
I was poached by Bass a year later and began working as a manager for them, which was eventful to say the least, but with the aid of panic buttons and armed police I lived to tell the tale, then, after a brief time in Manchester and Portugal running bars, I moved to Carlisle, which is one of the most depressing places unless you like bingo. So i returned to the north-east and worked for Mal maison hotel before taking over as a bar manager at Newcastle University, until I left to move to the beautiful city of Durham, where I worked as the manager of the award winning Gourmet Spot restaurant on The Avenue, until in May 2008 i left to build websites full time so that i could at least see daylight and put off my first heart attack for as long as is humanly possible.
